Now that we have a catchy slogan for our upcoming fishing tournament, it’s time to talk about plans for the day. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, March 13, for a great day of fishing, fun, fellowship, and fundraising! We’d like to offer financial assistance through more scholarships, and you can help just by being there!
Here’s our plan for the day:
Fishing teams, families, or individual contestants may begin fishing from boats, from the shore, or by wading. The contest officially ends at 3 P.M. and that’s when we’ll begin announcing winners.
For those who aren’t fishing, there will be volunteer opportunities, a bounce house for the children, and supervised games for all ages.
We can still use help soliciting sponsors, helping set up for thedinner, and picking up prizes. Additional information with specifics about sponsorship levels will be coming to you soon.
At 5 P.M. there will be a “pig roast,” live music, and closing for our silent auction. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at that time.

The re-enrollment discount period for returning Summit students begins Tuesday, January 5 and ends Friday, January 15, 2010. Parents who enroll students during that period will receive a $75 discount on the 2010-2011 registration fee, lowering it to $125 per student. After January 15, the registration fee will be $200 per student for all applicants.
