Sanibel Preschool Program Description
Summit Christian School at Sanibel Community Church offers a warm and loving community that seeks to identify and nurture each child’s unique gifts. The church provides excellent, well-equipped classrooms and a shaded playground as part of our joint ministry to the Sanibel community. Our Christian-based curriculum includes a fine arts and music program, weekly visits from our Sanibel librarian, annual fieldtrips, and Friday chapel time. By establishing close relationships with parents, our teachers are dedicated to meeting each child’s individual needs.
We currently offer a program for children 18 months through prekindergarten. Our 18 month and two year old program is on Tuesday and Thursday; the three year old program is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and the prekindergarten is Monday through Friday. Children are placed by age and developmental readiness.
Our preschool program is accredited through NCPSA, Christian Schools of Florida, and was awarded a Gold Seal of Quality Care through Florida Department of Children and Families.
