Financial Agreement
2007-2008
Registration Fee:$150
is required when the Application is submitted.The Registration Fee is non-refundable unless Summit Christian School
does not admit the student.The fee is
utilized to cover school-wide standardized tests, text books, classroom
material costs related to instruction, and accreditation costs.Re-registering families will receive a
$75 discount on the Registration Fee if they submit a completed Application
by January 12, 2007, 4:00 p.m.
All new
families will add $50.00 (per student) for an Application Processing Fee
which is due at the time of application.
Discounts:
Discounts
apply to K-8th grade. Families may choose only one discount.
a.Multiple Child Discount
– There is a 8% discount for the second child, a 25% discount for the third
child, and a 35% discount for the fourth and each additional child.
b.Westminster Presbyterian
Church Member Discount – There is a 25% discount for children whose parents are
members in good standing of Westminster Presbyterian Church, PCA, Fort Myers,
Florida.
c.Minister Discount – For
children of full-time ordained ministers of Bible-believing evangelical
churches, there is a 50% discount.
Prepayment Discount:
Prepayment discount applies to the annual tuition and
must be received by July 1, 2007.Prepayment discount of 5% does not apply to other fees, families
receiving financial assistance, WPC member discount, minister discount, or
Florida P.R.I.D.E.
Financial Aid:
Summit Christian School
accepts Florida P.R.I.D.E. Scholarships.Families can log on to www.floridapride.org
for more information.
Financial aid may be
available based on need and availability of funds from the Summit Christian
School operating budget.Please
request a packet from the school office.Assistance may be available to students in grades K through 8th.Financial aid cannot be used in
conjunction with any other discounts or with the Florida P.R.I.D.E.
Scholarship.The Financial Agreement
will be signed when the award is accepted.

Tuition
payments, if paid on a monthly basis, are due on the first day of each
month.The first payment is due on July
1st, to be followed with nine (9) additional equal monthly payments.The last payment is due on April 1.If tuition is not received by the 10th
of the month, a $35.00 late penalty fee will be assessed.There is also a $25.00 fee for a check
returned for insufficient funds.
Financial Obligations
Accounts
must be current for a student to attend classes, take exams (achievements),
receive a report card, and have records released.Once an account becomes 30 days delinquent, the student is
subject to dismissal.Upon withdrawal
or dismissal, the student’s records (except medical) will be held until all
financial obligations are paid.
Termination of Agreement
If
the agreement is terminated at any time, there will be a $100 termination fee
assessed.In addition, if the agreement
is terminated more than 30 days and less than 90 days before the start of
school, the fee will be 15% of the remaining tuition balance.If the agreement is terminated before school
starts but less than 30 days before school starts, the additional fee will be
20% of the remaining tuition balance.If
the agreement is terminated after school starts, the additional fee will be 30%
of the remaining tuition balance.All
parties have the right to a written appeal to the Summit Christian School Board
of Trustees with ten (10) days of withdrawal.

achieve a “uniform” appearance at Summit Christian School, all clothing must be
purchased through Sunshine School Uniforms.The company has our uniform policy on file and will be happy to assist
you with your selections.Allow 2 weeks
for the monogramming.Periodically, we
will hold used uniform re-sales.Uniforms are required for all grades except pre-kindergarten.
